In the first book of this series, Harry gets a letter from Hogwarts telling him he can come but his aunt and uncle try to not let him get it. Finally he gets his letter and goes to Hogwarts where he learns more about his life and about his parents before they were killed by an evil wizard named Voldemort. My favourite part was when Harry and his friends are in a game of wizards chess. I recommend this book to people who like magic.
